5 - 12.07.19 Olga Urvant's personal exhibition "Woman's Expressionism"
July 5 at 19 pm Spivakovska ART: EGO gallery presented a personal exhibition of the artist Olga Urvant.
From 2009 to 2017, the artist spent abroad, traveling, living and working in 15 countries: the southern and central parts of Europe and the Middle East. This served as a strong impetus and inspiration in her creative life and in shaping her personality as an artist.
In 2018, Olga returned to Ukraine to prepare and organize her first solo exhibition.
Olga's paintings primarily reflect her inner world, emotions, personal experiences and are inspired by travel, music, nature and feelings.
“I am happy that I was born at the end of the 20th century in Ukraine and I am infinitely happy that I was born as a woman in Ukraine.
I am happy to paint in the 21st century, I am happy to feel, create, crush, feel again and create again.
I am happy to see the world around me through the eyes of a woman, down to the smallest detail and halftones ... I am happy to feel the heart of a woman in hundreds of spectra of emotions.
I am happy to be able to believe as a woman.
And I believe that in the chaos of contradictions, aggression and the eternal battle between white and black, a woman is a way: mysterious, complicated, beautiful, ”the artist shares her exhibition concept."
Since 2005, Olga has been working as a practicing artist, experimenting with techniques and materials, studying the techniques of old masters and looking for her own style. She is currently receiving a master's degree in art history.
