MUSA International ArtSpace and Spivakovska ART: EGO gallery have opened an exhibition in Rome.
Spivakovska ART: EGO gallery presented 20 works by 14 Ukrainian artists at the international project Womans Essence from the Musa International ArtSpace Association under the auspices of the UNESCO center Bologna.

The gallery has been an exclusive partner of the Association for 6 years, and over the years they have jointly held exhibitions in Paris, Rome, Madrid, Milan, Palermo, Prague, Kiev, presenting Ukrainian art in an international format.

Despite the difficult planning conditions for large-scale events, the organizers succeeded: the exhibition took place on September 9-11 in Rome, in the famous gallery space Palazzo Velli Expo.

Lika Spivakovskaya, founder of Spivakovska ART: EGO gallery:
- We have been planning this project for about a year. The first negotiations with UNESCO Center Bologna took place back in November 2019. We really wanted our artists to be approved by the UNESCO Center, and we succeeded! For obvious reasons, the project was postponed several times, but I am very glad that, at a time when most event organizers cancel events or go online, we were able to offer the viewer a physical exhibition in free access. It is important for us that in times of instability, art remains the harbor that people need so much to feel the fulcrum and continue to communicate with the world. "

This year, the opening was attended by 100 artists, Ambassador of the Netherlands to Italy Jost Flemand, Cultural Attaché of Ukraine, Ambassador of UNESCO Center Bologna, publisher Serradifalco Edditore, founder of Palazzo Velli Alessandro D'Alessandra, President of MUSA International ArtSpace Association, press and guests.

All this became possible thanks to Italian partners: President of the Association Natalia Grinyuk, publisher Jean Franco Serradifalco and Ambassador of UNESCO center Bologna Maurizio Aronica.

Natalia Grinyuk, President of MUSA International ArtSpace:
“We have been organizing international exhibitions twice a year, annually, for six years now. But, never before has it been so exciting. Considering that guests from all countries usually come to our events, this year everything was in jeopardy several times! But, even despite the quarantine restrictions on movement, we were visited by a lot of guests. "

The exhibition presents works by Ukrainian artists: Lana Kaufman, Irina Onopenko, Anna Gomonova, Odarka Dema-Pisna, Anna Chicherina, Alisa Popova, CHEPURNA Evgeniya Miroshnichenko, Tosya Kravtsova, Irena Tone, Oksana Chetverikova, Olga Gladushevskaya, Elena Kolambet, Daria Smirnova Fullen.

The WOMANS ESSENCE project, about women in art, publishes an annual catalog of selected works by critic Laura Francesca di Trapani.

This year, the members are also nominated for the WOMAN ART AWARD 2020.
