Truly bright and inspiring artworks of Julia Mikhno (Julie) pacify, fill every room with light and artwork of Lena Yavorskaya, bright, colorful, juicy - create an atmosphere of luck, power and success. Lovely tandem!
Artist Julia Mikhno (Julie) creates paintings in a variety of techniques and genres. They are very many-sided by the manner of performance, the storyline, the palette of colors, but they all share the emotion of love, with which they were painted. According to the artist, a distinguishing feature of her work is a sense-like character where senses and images are in the basis of the work, as well as the material with which she works. Thus, the main target of influence of her oeuvre is not so much mind as feelings, emotions. Art has an intuitive, unconscious character that distinguishes it with the highest degree of freedom, letting free the imagination game. Some works are painted in to the smallest details and contain a lot of encrypted, hidden signs inside, which add up to a total legend, such as in the "Blessed" painting. Others leave the right for unrestrained flight of fantasy, without burden it with shapes and colors, such as in the "Weightlessness" painting. Or have healing features due to the color palette, like the paintings from the "Mandala" series, at which you can glaze endlessly and each time feel other emotions: some of them makes you calm, others - give a boost of energy.
Love – this is a concept of artist’s works. Love is the meaning of life, without it - life is impossible. All that we see around us is the result of love.
Julie's artworks are in private collections of Ukraine, Russia, USA, Spain and Poland.
Elena Yavorskaya started painting using canvases, oil and simple table knife instead of a brush. Later, a variety of dining and everyday objects became instruments for overlaying the paint and helped it to lie more volumetrically, giving a picture pastosity and some internal vibration. In 2010 she graduated from the Odessa Institute of Art and Graphics.
Artworks of the young artist are a manifestation of her personality and special feeling of the world.
Elena is endowed with a wonderful ability to precisely catch the latest trends in art and perfectly embody them in her artworks, which are as wide-open as the soul of the artist towards the world and happiness. "We need to look at the world through the eyes of a child" - appealed Henri Matisse. And Elena looks, creating an "art of pure heart", sincere, colorful. Graceful pink flamingos, blue birds, white lambs, beautiful flowers and lovers inhabit her picturesque paradise where generously put with palette knife paint serves as a building material of universal harmony. The simpler is the motive, the more there is in the artist's desire to create a "picturesque event". The bright world of E. Yavorskaya is alien to frozen statics - everything in it lives, grows, moves. An effect of vibrating colorful surface receives the full degree of expression.
It is desirable to think about her art as of a certain living being, growing, maturing, changing.
Elena includes in her creative practice a variety of art forms and languages (symbolism, pointillism, fauvism, naive art, expressionism), benefiting from a combination of so-called polistilizm.
Her exhibitions were held successfully and repeatedly in Odessa, Kiev, Varna (Bulgaria) and the Central House of Artists in Moscow. Elena Yavorskaya artworks are in private collections of Ukraine, Russia, USA, Bulgaria.
